Well the past couple days have gone by pretty quickly...i can't believe it's already the end of thursday. Well as the countdown goes...three more days left until i go back to Davis. But, i'm acutally pretty excited to go...especially cause now i finally have a car up there. It's about time. You really can't do much in Davis without a car cause Lord knows I refuse to take the bus...haha...except for those times Claire was the driver...I got to do a lot of things on bus I've always wanted to do....haha run up and down the asile while the bus was moving...haha...good times. This year i'll be living with people I know: two girls and a guy, so there'll be four of us. I'm pretty excited...plus i finally get a my own room.

Well as far as the summer is going....haha it's been going okay. On Sunday I hung out with my friend Bob whom i've know for pretty much 12 years now...we're neighbors and my friends Bob who goes to UCSC and Jason who goes to Cal Poly, SLO were the people I hung out with before I met everyone from college and high school....It was cool hanging out with Bob. I haven't seen him for about a year. We just had a quick get-together at Brentwood Bowl, and bowling alley about a 10 minute walk from my house. We played a game of pool and talk about the present and the past. We were laughing about how it's funny how the three of us ended wanting to be engineers but i guess the things we did as kids all make sense why we would all want to chose this path. Jason and Bob were always into computers. They use to make programs on it and we would try to manage is thing called Guardian Online. But anyways....yeah it was good catching up with him again.

On Monday I went to Seton and i helped setup for this party we were going to have on Tuesday. I was a pretty much decorating the backroom with streamers and props.

On Tuesday we held this party for another co-volunteer at Seton named Stephanie. This was her last day working at our department Nuclear Medicine where she's been working at for the past 3 years. I can't believe she completed more than 1500 community service hours..WOW!!!...but yeah she deserved everything. She been a hard worker these past three years. We were holding this party for her because she was leaving for Basic in the army on Wednesday. It was cool to see the turn out. Besides the regular co-workers, Marylin, the volunteer coordinator and Alfonzo, the mailroom director, came to visit. It was good to see them again. One of the highlights of the day was when we had the silly string fight. haha...I put the silly string cans in the freezer for too long and it froze. After warming the containers up Shawn and I started shooting everyone, but the string that came out "mutated" into something different and when it dried on people's clothing it solidified and taking it out became this huge challenge for everyone. If that wasn't enough, Shawn sprayed that stuff into mine and Daniel's mouth...that shiet taste disgusting...but it was all good. It was sad to see Steph go but i know i'll see her again during Christmas time...so it's not the end.

Wednesday was a big surpise, cause I hung out with my cousin Jake for the first time in like 5 years. It was cool, I guess i was kinda quiet at first but after awhile things were all good. We went to Serramonte cause he wanted to get some new shoes. We then got some food from the food court and headed for our cousin Jan-Ivan's house where we all ate lunch. Afterwards we went back to my house to pick up our grandma, Mamang, to bring her to Seton so she could visit her friend who just had an operation. While Mamang was with her friend, I introduced Jake to my supervisor and the people i worked with for the past 4 years. It was fun hanging out with my cousin again.

Well that's been my week so far but there's still so much more to go in the next three days. Laterz all...

So yeah wow...I can't believe it! There's only 3 more weeks living here in the dorm and then it's apartments...and then it's life...but whoa...i won't get too carried away. So yeah I got back from Reno this evening at around 7:00 PM. My family went with some of our close family friends, the Mendiola family, Shanna, Stevie, and Samantha as well as with their parents. Our trip really started out Saturday morning. The plan...haha...was suppose to be me waking up at 6:00 AM, pack my clothes, and to waiting ourside when my parents arrived from San Francisco. Well...haha...I woke up at 6:00 and then set my clock back to snooze and so I went back to sleep. 7:30 came around and my parents called my telling me that they were going to be here in 10 minutes...haha...i woke up and i was like..."I hecka forgot!" and so I quickly changed and packed all my stuff...and we ended up leaving around 8:00-8:15 cause I had to burn some songs before leaving...you know...some songs for the road. Well anyways...all i can remember was going into the van and falling alseep again...i was hella tired from the past week. I woke up and i asked my parents if we were there yet and they told me to turn around. Hella moated...i turned to seek the RENO Hilton right behind me. haha...yeah...so we got outside and went into the hotel. My dad couldn't wait any longer and went straight to the poker tables while my mom and I went down to the ground floor to get our shop on!...while my mom went to shoe store...haha...i decided to look around at some other stores.

Well my mom ended up taking up a long time so i went outside to get some fresh air from the smokey environment and that's when i saw Shanna's family who were coincidently entering the hotel. Well we found my dad and headed straight to the buffet!...We ate at this buffet called The Lodge in Hilton. It was cool but the only problem was that we got seated hella far from the food and so we had to walk quite a distance to get to all the good stuff...The food was alright and i tried my first cheese blitz...Eating lunch there was cool except we had a pretty mean waitress to serve us our drinks and i think we left giving her like a dollar tip...haha...whatever...We then proceeded to our hotel which was quite a short distance from the strip. It was cool....our room had a kitchen and a futon...haha...Well....the dads went back to gamble while the rest of us went shoppng at this crazy big mall. It was pretty big...i got lost a couple times! holla Memorial Day weekend sale!!! We got a couple stuff and we went back to the hotel. Our moms went to Eldorado Hotel to get tickets for this "broadway" show we were going to watch later on at night. While they were gone i set up my laptop and speakers in shanna's room and we jammed to her cotllion mix as well as the Black Eyed Peas - Hey Mama & Outkast - Roses which were some songs we were going crazy about...expecially Roses...haha...Caroline!...good stuff....afterwards we just watched somethings on MTV and the Disney channel...wow it felt so good looking at tv again....it was kinda weird going from summer where i averaged 13 hours of tv a day to college where i don't watch anything...I felt kinda weird not being in the mix with what was going on on MTV...but yeah....it's all good. We left the hotel at around 8:00 to fall in line for the show. The show was pretty cool...basially it was a bunch of performers singing all of the hit broadway songs...haha....i was hella yelling...haha...Afterwards it was like 11 or something and so we went to Circus Circus to win a couple of stuff... Stevie won me this Britney Spears poster i've been hella craving and i won this bear and cow...haha....aggie!!!....Afterwards all of us were pretty tired so we all went back. Shanna's parents slept in one room, my parents in another, and me, Stevie, Shanna, and Samantha in another. And that was the end of the first night.

The next morning, Sunday morning, we went to chruch and headed to the Harrah's hotel to eat lunch. I was pretty good...there's was hella food...damn...i felt like i was going to explode....i'll never eat that much that fast ever again....haha....but yeah...it was all good and the waitressness were hella cool...i tried to make small talk with them...haha....Afterwards we went back to Hilton cause they had a bunch of things there for kids. Our parents went back to gambling and we headed to the bowling alley to play some games...Samantha, bowling team girl!, won the first game and i won the second...it was pretty crazy at that bowling alley cause there was also a basketball/baseball tournament going on and so all these families and kids were there at the same time.haha.....we were forrrealz like the only people of color there...but yeah it's all good...afterwards we went to the Fun Quest which was this huge place of arcades and games. We ended up playing two rounds of laser tag...damn...That was hella fun..the last time i played at q-zar was seriously like 8-9 years ago. It was cool but my team had too many small kids who weren't really aggresive and who didn't know what to do....and so we didn't do that hot...but yeah it was such a fun experience...all of us were hella sweating and making fun of the other team...haha...but yeah it was all in good fun. I really wanted to do this thing which was like Great America's Xtreme Skyflyer but yeah....haha....no one wanted to go on with me and my mom was freaking out when i told her "no!!! no!!!...you're my one and only child!!!...no you're not going!!!.."...haha...yeah next time....i swear like once i turn 21 i'm going sky diving....but yeah so we left Reno at around 5 PM and Shanna family all accompanied us to Davis which was pretty cool. It was Stevie & Samantha's first time there and i was cool seeing them in awe at the size of the campus....i was like "Stevie whatever the sun touches belong to Davis" haha....Well after a pee break....Shanna's family headed back home cuase they were all tired from the trip. My parents stayed for a while and we talked about what was going to happen in the next three weeks.

After they left i went back to my dorm to do my laundry and i just pretty much chilled in my room. When my laundry was done i went to visit karina and alex at Karina's dorm and we talked about each other's weekends. And yeah so that was my past couple two days. Honestly....like my things in life...they went by hella fast...just yesterday morning i was waking up ready to go to reno and now it's all done. Time does fly....as well as college....The year's almost over. But yeah...i.'ll get through this...3 more weeks pjay...i believe in you....enjoy my friend...
